His mother is a Retired Professor in Political Science from GD Womens College, Patna and his father is a practicing lawyer in Patna High Court who is also a social worker and thinker. He is a philanthropist and fights cases for the poor without charging any fees from them. Manish is married to Soni Sinha, who was born in and completed her MBA from Patna. She is an educationist, social worker and also supports him in all his social endeavours.
He has two elder brothers, both of whom are professionals, one is a successful entrepreneur in Dubai and the other is practising lawyer in Supreme Court, Delhi and has his own Law Firm.

His parents always encouraged him to think progressively and imbibed it in him that a good education is necessary to achieve your goals and make your dreams a reality.
Manish’s school and under-graduate education was in Patna – St Michael’s High School and Patna Science College. Manish was a bright student and did well in academics. He decided to get an Engineering Degree from NIT, Warangal. After working for a few years, he realised that he needed to sharpen his skills in his chosen area and needed a higher degree. He went to USA for his Masters in Supply Chain Management from prestigious Texas A&M College. The reason for him to choose Supply Chain as his area of specialization was that at some point he wanted to come back to India and he saw that many of the issues ailing India were due to weak supply chains and poor distribution. He understands the power of digital supply chain and how it can transform the fortune of a country.
Manish knew that co-curricular activities were very important for all-round development and was actively involved in sports, cultural and literary events which enhanced his personality and skill-set.
The experience of his early years, the guidance of parents and family, his education in great institutions and his own initiatives helped in forming personality traits that proved very critical in shaping his career and becoming a professional and someone who cares for the large sections of the Society.

Project BIGGR
Bihar Income Generation at Grass Root
Recently, our PM, Shri Narendra Modi came up with a slogan of Atmanirbharta or Self-reliance, which is aimed at making India capable of producing goods and services that we are today importing from other countries. If implemented and executed well, this can really change India’s fortune and accelerate its growth into an economic Super Power.
Manish bigger vision and passion is to create opportunities at the door step of Bihari , whether he lives in rural village or urban town of Bihar. Recent COVID-19 pandemic and migrant labour crisis has reinforced the need to build a society which is “Atma Nirbhar”.
Understanding the problem to be complex which will need a holistic solution, project BIGGR (Bihar Income Generation at Grass root ) was conceptualised in 2018. The concept is to build a trustworthy eco system connecting bright youth, opportunity providers, mentors and partners to drive innovation at the ground. This will be driven by latest technology of IoT, Artificial Intelligence, Block chain and other advanced analytical tools. On 3rd Dec 2017, during celebration of 133rd anniversary of Dr Rajendra Prasad at SK Memorial Hall, Patna, Bihar Positive had declared a vision for Bihar to be “A Trillion Dollar economy by 2040”. This might be stretched goal, but in trying to achieve, it will potentially unite Bihari’s like never before and open endless opportunities for youth of state.
REMEMBERING DESH RATNA DR RAJENDRA PRASAD
Manish realised that inspite of the monumental accomplishment of Dr Prasad, the nation is slowly forgetting the sacrifices and role of Dr Rajendra Prasad in making of new India. The nation does not celebrate his anniversar y even remotely the way it does for contemporary leaders and icons of his stature. He is slowly fading away from memories of younger generation.
India Positive and Bihar Positive has been organizing Dr Rajendra Prasad Jayanti celebrations at Delhi and Patna, since 2015, to spread his teachings to the youth of the country. Bihar Positive has also been organising Inter school debate and giving awards for distinguished citizens who have made significant contribution to the state and nation. These programs have been greatly appreciated by all sections of society and stakeholders and the idea now is to increase the outreach and impact of the organizations and the causes it espouses.
In order to acknowledge the contribution of Desh Ratna and to perpetuate his memory with the youth of country, Manish has been exhorting the Government of India to declare the birthday of Dr. Rajendra Prasad as “Rashtriya Gyan Diwas”. Additionally, an imposing “Statue of Knowledge” dedicated to Dr Rajendra Prasad to be installed on the banks of the pious River Ganga in Patna, similar to statue of Unity for Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. A signature and video campaign started by Manish at end of 2019 got close to a lakh response from citizens of more than 15 states of our country. Manish understands that dream of New Bihar & New India can be made only on the strong pillars of vision and teachings of one of the greatest leaders of nation and Bihar. Today the country owes its gratitude to Dr Rajendra Prasad for his role in freedom struggle and shaping the
new India after independence.
